"The Fall! Ignoring Deadlines and Its Consequences"
Deadlines are the time by which something must be finished or submitted. Why give deadlines? Well, deadlines are given so that we would know when we have to get the work done. Deadline would give us pressure on when the work given has to be completed. Therefore, we would plan carefully our time so as to complete it before the deadline. If there is no deadline, we would drag the work or even not do the work at all. When a deadline is given, it is best not to ignore it. Why would someone ignore deadlines? They are either too lazy to complete the work or have poor time management. When we ignore deadlines, we would face consequences for our actions. For example, in a teenager everyday life, if homework given passed the deadline, we would be punished by either deducting marks in the assignment, staying back after school to complete assignment or even deducting marks from our social emotional learning (SEL). These punishments are given so as to make the student complete her work. If there is no punishment, students would probably not do homework even after exceeding the deadline given. Therefore, it is important to give deadlines for every work.
